The Women's Ministry Department of Harvest Temple Church of God in Largo, FL, is hosting a Life & Style Women's Conference September 11 & 12, '09.*

Melanie's Bio

Melanie Dorsey has a consuming hunger for God's Word. She is passionate about inspiring others to fall more deeply in love with Jesus. Through in-depth Bible teaching and personal stories, Melanie speaks with the authority that comes from knowing her God-given purpose. She delights in coaching women to realize their full potential and position in Christ. Melanie holds degrees in communication and foreign languages and is a certified teacher.

A featured soloist for many years, Melanie considers it a joy to minister in song.
She serves in her church in music ministry, Family Care Ministry and teaching.
Melanie is married to Dan Dorsey and they live in Florida (where the mosquito is the state bird) with their three children and spoiled Pekingese.

Alisa's Bio

Alisa Lucas-Brown has a passion for families and home-life. Having spent 20 years in various corporate roles, Alisa knows firsthand the challenges women face achieving work/life balance. For years Alisa struggled to reconcile the woman of Proverbs 31 with her own identity of Company Vice President. After God performed a miracle of restoration in her own marriage and home, Alisa has sought ways to minister to women, teens and families, encouraging them to make God the center of the home. God has gifted Alisa with creativity and vision. She uses these gifts in the area of Interior Décor and Fashion. Alisa is married to Douglas and has two sons, 16 and 10. She resides in North Carolina. Alisa is involved at her local church where she serves in ministry with teens, music, drama and teaching.
